History of KTI

Kumul Training Institute is a nationally owned training provider in Papua New Guinea. The institution provides various courses and training programs ranging from National Certificates Level 1 – Level 4 or (Certificates – Diploma). The courses includes Accounting and Business, Computing and It, admin management and HRM, sales and marketing, tourism and hospitality Ports and Shipping, Catering and Cookery, Flight attendants, Airlines ticketing, Technical courses such as DHF, Light motor mechanic, Auto electronics, Industrial electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Plant operator & Motor vehicle training, OHS, Aircraft Maintenance, and to name a few. All our courses are designed for quality training meeting the national standard for quality assurance.

KTI registered with the National Training Council (NTC) which is the only mandated regulatory and monitoring arm of the Department of Labor and Employment of Papua New Guinea. The NTC accreditation number 121 has been granted in 2007 in the provision of training. Kumul Training Institution has been registered with Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) as the provision of business name. Since 2007, KTI has been in full operation spanning last 13 years providing training and educational services in the country.

National Training Council (NTC)

The services rendered is in provision of training and all training providers are compulsory to register the institution with the National Training Council (NTC) which Kumul Training Institute is no exception. Therefore Kumul Training Institute has been granted approval by NTC in 2007 after meeting all the requirements and accreditation granted for a practicing training certificate. Our NTC Certificate N0 is 121 with its accredited courses and Senior Trainer Max Kuri – (Certificate 4 in Training and Assessments).
